A fantastic shot of my Steampunk Hussar uniform seen at Steampunk World's Fair 2014. This is part of a set taken by the masterful John T. Reilly of Red Zebra Photography.
The Pelisse was handmade by my Wife and is fully braided front and back in the traditional style. The shako with horsehair plume was made by me, as was the utility belt, insignia and we collaborated as a pair on the embroidery of the sabretache.

Really digging the Pelz. I'm also pretty impressed, as it seems the ingredients for your uniform are not at all historical materials, but you have thoroughly succeeded in the ideas of replicating the pieces to the garments. Especially the epaulets! Coulda fooled me!
