This is a tribute to my dearest, Madame Giry. She had the good grace to refer me to a fic called "Das Phantom von Deutchland" in which the Opera Ghost is an SS Oberst during the second world war. The referral only came after my drooling over her incarnation of Fascist Erik in " A Phantom in Uniform"
[link] She's one of the best Phan artists around and one of the most sharp, interesting people that you'll ever have the chance to meet. Her artwork is really inspiring. She fully gets the essense of the Opera Ghost without sacrificing any of her style....really, I could gush for days... As an interesting side note, this particular Phantom has inspired a costume in the works. It will give me a chance to hunt down some riding boots and build a kickass hat! |

WOW! I've told you already, but I'll say it again - I am truly humbled and honored that you were inspired to create such a stunning piece as a result of my work. The stark contrasts of black, white, and red really make this a powerful image.
*blush* also many thanks for the kind compliments about my work and myself. You are too kind. Truly, you've been one of my best phan buddies and fellow artist. *hugs*
Now look what you did - you made the Madame get all soft! Shh! Don't tell anyone!
*resumes cold stoic demeanoir* Ahem, excellent!
