Christine Costume sketch

My version of the "Wishing" Dress.
A submission for the Phantom Costume contest.

I have always wanted to see a version of Phantom that drew its aesthetics from period correctness. That said, my Christine is pictured here in mourning attire complete with veil and her well-loved red scarf.

The sihlouette looks very grown up for her with intention. It is in this song that the play really forces her to wake up from her childlike fantasy world and confront the facts at hand.

The colors are brighter in the sketch to see what all is going on cut-wise, but in an actualized gown the brightest item would be the scarf. The hat would be removed during the early recitative so that her face would be unincumbered onstage.
